Do you believe the warriors can make the playoffs this season?

If the Warriors are healthy, they can sneak into the 8th seed. Maybe. The Western Conference is absolutely loaded. The Denver Nuggets, Dallas Mavericks, and Utah Jazz were the 6th, 7th, and 8th seeds last season. Houston and Phoenix were the first two teams out. Denver will be much better, Dallas and Utah about the same, Houston and Phoenix much worse (they’ve gutted their teams).  Portland is in a pseudo rebuilding mode so expect them to stay about the same (.424 win percentage).

This leaves an open spot for the Minnesota Timberwolves, Golden State Warriors, and New Orleans Hornets to jump in. If the Warriors can stay healthy, and that is a huge if, then they have a punchers chance to stave off Minnesota and Utah. Andrew Bogut (GSW) and Stephen Curry (GSW) are ridiculously fragile, but with the emergence of Klay Thompson (GSW) and the addition of Harrison Barnes (GSW), they should at least make it respectable.

On paper they have a chance. But then again the Warriors always look better on paper than they do on the court. If I was a betting man, I would bet the Warriors injuries take out some of their top level players and they skip out on the playoffs again.
